It was 1922 when I was on a ship from San Francisco to Yokohama.It was a 14 day trip and I was sharing a room with 4 other passengers.

Those days the ships where full and the rooms where small.My room was really small and I had to deal with it for 4 days.

The food was mediocre and there was no room to eat. When I was searching for a place to eat i found a table with 4 people around it and set there.

One of the people around the table was making a shake he called it a cocktail. I think his name was Max Kelada. He offerd me one and sad I want find another any where in the world.

I didn’t think of Ms. kelada very much but many other passengers hated him. The passengers called him Mr. Know all and where avoiding arguing with him because of his argumentative personality.

There was another one around the table his name was Mr. Ramsay he was a quite chunky. Mr. Ramsay was arguing with Mr. Kelada. Mr. Ramsay was nice and formal.

Mrs. Ramsay was sitting near Mr. Ramsay. She was quite beautiful. She wasn’t talking to much so i didn’t know here very well but i think she is shy.

The other person was in the dark and he didn’t talk at all but Mr. Kelada was talking to him like they were friends. Later Mr. Kelada mentioned that this man was his roommate.

The next day I joined their table again. It seemed like Mr.Kelada and Mr. Ramsay were arguing about pearls and cultured pearls. Mr.kelada said he was a professional when it comes to pearls but Mr. Ramsay was steel arguing with him.

They were arguing until Mr. Kelada mentioned Mrs. Ramsasy’s pearl neckless and said that it was real pearls on the neckless. Mr. Ramsay was sure that the neckless was cheap and only with cultured pearls. After a long argument, Mr. Ramsay and Mr. Kelada made a bet of 100$ and Mr. Kelada checked the pearls. Mrs. Ramsay was really against the whole thing but it didn’t stop the two. Whan Mr. Kelada finished checking the pearls he was trembling and said that these pearls were cultured pearls and it was his mistake.
